AwardClaw in Goose

Goose, the open source agent, treats MCP servers as extensions. Add AwardClaw as a remote Streamable HTTP extension and Goose can search award space in any session.

Set it up

1In AwardClaw (Pro+), open Agents, tap Connect an agent, pick this app and choose what it may do. Copy the key it shows.
2Run goose configure, choose Add Extension, then Remote Extension (Streamable HTTP), or edit ~/.config/goose/config.yaml directly.
3Use the values below: the AwardClaw MCP URL and an Authorization header with your key.
4Start a Goose session and ask about award space.

Goose expects uri, not url. A wrong field name makes Goose skip the extension without an error.

Live saver drops in business and first, ranked by quality, with open dates, miles, taxes and booking links. Defaults to your tracked cities.

Every open saver date on a route inside a date window, cheapest program first. The tool for "I have dates."

Read-only on award data. Goose never sees airline logins or points balances, and every date links to the program's own site to book.

One key per tool. Revoke any key in AwardClaw and that connection stops at once.

Goose questions

Where does my key go?+

In an Authorization: Bearer header, so it never appears in a URL or a log line. You can create a separate key for each tool and revoke any of them on its own.

Does it work in the Goose desktop app?+

Yes. Desktop and CLI share the same extensions config.

Which models can call it?+

Any model you run Goose with that supports tool calls.
