Search award flights in ChatGPT

ChatGPT can add any remote MCP server as a custom plugin once developer mode is on. Add AwardClaw and ChatGPT can search live saver award space, check exact dates for your group and set trip watches in any chat.

Set it up

  1. 1In AwardClaw (Pro+), open Agents, tap Connect an agent, pick this app and choose what it may do. Copy the connector URL it shows.
  2. 2In ChatGPT, turn on Developer mode in Settings (it sits under the advanced or security settings, depending on your version).
  3. 3Open Plugins, select the plus button, then Add custom MCP server. Name it AwardClaw.
  4. 4Under Connection, paste the connector URL. For authentication choose none, since the key is already in the URL. Accept the warning and create the plugin.
  5. 5In a new chat, add AwardClaw from the plugins menu and ask about award space.

  • Custom MCP servers need developer mode, which is on paid ChatGPT plans (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, Edu). Menu names move between ChatGPT releases.
  • The connector URL contains your key. Treat it like a password and revoke the key in AwardClaw if it ever leaks.
