Aspire gives you three perks that compound: a free-night certificate, the $400 resort credit, and automatic Diamond status. Stacked on one award stay, they cover most of the cost.
Sort by “Best free-night value” to find where your annual free night saves the most points.

The Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card gives you up to $200 in statement credits semi-annually (January–June and July–December), for up to $400 back per year, on eligible purchases made directly with a participating Hilton Resort. Charges must be made directly with the resort — room rate, dining, spa, and other on-property spend — and put on the Aspire card.
Only properties Hilton classifies as Resorts qualify — currently 314 hotels worldwide spanning Waldorf Astoria, LXR, Conrad, Signia, Curio Collection, Tapestry Collection, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, DoubleTree, Embassy Suites, and Hilton Grand Vacations. A regular Hilton or Hampton in a city center does not count. The map and gallery on this page reflect Hilton's official eligible-resort list.
There is no activation. Book and stay at an eligible resort, pay the on-property folio with your Aspire card, and Amex posts the statement credit automatically — typically within a few days of the charge. The credit applies to direct charges from the resort, not third-party bookings (Expedia, Chase Travel, etc.).
Yes. It is two separate $200 buckets: one for January through June, one for July through December. They do not roll over, so a single long stay can only capture $200 unless it straddles the July 1 reset. Planning two resort stays — one in each half of the year — captures the full $400.
Yes, and this is the sweet spot. Book the room on points, then the resort credit offsets dining, spa, and incidentals you charge to the room. Pair an Aspire free night certificate with the resort credit at a Waldorf Astoria or Conrad and most of the on-property cost can be covered.
