We monitor real-time award availability across all major US and Canadian hubs.
AwardClaw selects departure cities based on international business and first class route availability. The cities listed above are the primary US and Canadian gateways for long-haul flights operated by airlines in the OneWorld, Star Alliance, and SkyTeam alliances. These airports have direct flights to Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and South America — the routes where award travel delivers the most value.
We scan award inventory from each of these airports to 125+ international destinations across 8 airline programs: American, Alaska, Aeroplan, Turkish, Flying Blue, Virgin Atlantic, United, and Singapore KrisFlyer. When saver-level business class or first class seats appear, AwardClaw detects the availability and can alert subscribers within hours.
Not every airport has the same award availability. Hub airports like JFK, LAX, ORD, and SFO tend to have the most options because airlines operate their widebody fleets from these bases. Smaller gateways like IAH, PHL, and SEA still offer strong availability on specific routes — for example, SEA is excellent for Asian destinations via partner airlines, and PHL has direct award availability to Europe on American Airlines.
Tier 2–3 cities we're adding next. Set your home airport and we'll notify you when scanning begins.
