The Michelin Guide awards Keys to 2,843 hotels worldwide. 728 of them sit inside a loyalty program — World of Hyatt, Marriott Bonvoy, Hilton Honors, IHG One Rewards and Accor ALL — so a transfer from your credit card can pay for the room. Every one is below, mapped and ranked by value, with pages for each program, Key rating, country and city.

Every country with a Michelin Key hotel. Counts show all Key hotels there and how many take points.
Michelin inspectors started awarding Keys in 2024, judging hotels on five things: architecture and interior design, service and quality, personality and character, value for the price, and how much the hotel contributes to its setting. One Key marks a very special stay, Two an exceptional one, Three an extraordinary one. Because inspectors rate the property rather than the flag on the door, a 20-room farmhouse can hold the same distinction as a capital-city palace — and a surprising number of both sit inside points programs.
We take the full Michelin Guide Key selection and match each property against AwardClaw's award-pricing dataset for Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton and IHG — by name and coordinates, with every borderline case checked by hand — then add Hilton's SLH roster and chain-branded hotels (Ritz-Carlton, Six Senses, Raffles and so on) that carry their program in the name. Points prices are the median we have observed for a standard award night; value is that price against the cash rate. Independents with no loyalty currency are listed too, so the map is complete, but they are marked cash-only.
Programs with Key hotels: World of Hyatt, Marriott Bonvoy, Hilton Honors, IHG One Rewards and ALL – Accor Live Limitless.
Yes — 728 of the 2,843 hotels in the Michelin Guide's Key selection belong to a loyalty program that sells award nights: 269 through World of Hyatt, 172 through Hilton Honors, 162 through Marriott Bonvoy, 73 through ALL – Accor Live Limitless and 52 through IHG One Rewards. The rest are independents or belong to groups such as Four Seasons, Aman, Rosewood and Mandarin Oriental that have no points currency, though many of those still take Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts bookings.
World of Hyatt with 269, followed by Hilton Honors (172), Marriott Bonvoy (162), ALL – Accor Live Limitless (73) and IHG One Rewards (52). Partner portfolios do the heavy lifting: Mr & Mrs Smith (229), SLH (154) and Ritz-Carlton (46) account for more Key hotels than any chain-owned luxury brand.
The Michelin Guide launched Keys in 2024 as its hotel equivalent of Stars. One Key is "a very special stay", Two Keys "an exceptional stay" and Three Keys "an extraordinary stay". Inspectors weigh architecture and interior design, service quality, personality, value for the price and the hotel's contribution to its setting. Keys are awarded to the hotel, not the brand, which is why a boutique inn can outrank a flagship palace.
20 of the 156 Three Key hotels are bookable on points, including HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO, Les Sources de Caudalie, Hotel Esencia and The Siam. Most sit in Marriott Bonvoy (Ritz-Carlton Reserve, EDITION, Luxury Collection), World of Hyatt (Park Hyatt and Alila) and Hilton Honors (Waldorf Astoria and SLH). See the Three Key page for the full list.
It ranges from about 15,000 points a night at Park Hyatt Siem Reap to well over 150,000 at Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Six Senses and top SLH properties. AwardClaw shows the median observed points price for 331 of these hotels, and the "Best value" sort ranks them by cents per point so you can see where a transfer goes furthest.
111 of the points-bookable Key hotels are also in Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts or The Hotel Collection, which adds breakfast, a property credit and late checkout on paid stays. When points pricing is poor, an FHR cash booking with a card credit is often the better play at the same hotel.
