Give your AI agent live award space

Agent frameworks and model APIs can use AwardClaw two ways: as a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP, Bearer auth) or as a plain JSON REST API. Both the Claude API and the OpenAI Responses API can call remote MCP servers directly, so there is nothing to host.

Included with AwardClaw Pro+. About two minutes to set up.

Set it up

  1. 1In AwardClaw (Pro+), open Agents, tap Connect an agent, pick this app and choose what it may do. Copy the key it shows.
  2. 2Claude API: pass AwardClaw in mcp_servers with your key as the authorization token (MCP connector beta).
  3. 3OpenAI Responses API: add an mcp tool with the AwardClaw URL and an Authorization header.
  4. 4Any other framework: point its MCP client at the endpoint with an Authorization: Bearer header, or call /api/v1 directly.
Python
# Claude API (MCP connector)
client.beta.messages.create(
    model="claude-sonnet-5-5", max_tokens=2000,
    betas=["mcp-client-2025-11-20"],
    mcp_servers=[{"type": "url", "url": "https://www.awardclaw.com/api/mcp",
                  "name": "awardclaw", "authorization_token": KEY}],
    tools=[{"type": "mcp_toolset", "mcp_server_name": "awardclaw"}],
    messages=[{"role": "user", "content": "Business class JFK to Europe under 70k?"}],
)

# OpenAI Responses API
client.responses.create(
    model="gpt-5",
    tools=[{"type": "mcp", "server_label": "awardclaw", "server_url": "https://www.awardclaw.com/api/mcp",
            "headers": {"Authorization": f"Bearer {KEY}"}, "require_approval": "never"}],
    input="Business class JFK to Europe under 70k?",
)
  • Stateless Streamable HTTP transport: one JSON-RPC message per POST, JSON replies, no session to keep.
  • Good fit for daily digests, Slack or Discord bots, home dashboards and trip-planning agents.
  • Model names above are examples; use whichever current model you prefer.

Try asking Your own agent

“Morning digest: the three best drops from my cities, with transfer partners for each program.”
“Slack bot: answer "/award JFK LHR june" with open dates.”
“Trip planner: hold a conversation about dates and budget, then create a trip watch.”
“I need two seats Miami to Buenos Aires between March 1 and 6 in business. What is open?”

What Your own agent can do

search_drops

Live saver drops in business and first, ranked by quality, with open dates, miles, taxes and booking links. Defaults to your tracked cities.

search_award_space

Every open saver date on a route inside a date window, cheapest program first. The tool for "I have dates."

get_drop

Full detail for one drop, both directions.

create_trip_watch

Email alert when saver space opens on your dates.

list_trip_watches / delete_trip_watch

Manage the watches you or your agent created.

get_daily_briefing

Today's briefing: deals that expire soon, live transfer bonuses, and the top news and data points, each with why it matters.

search_points_news

Search the last 30 days of points and miles news, deals and data points on any program, card or airline.

get_card_offers

The best credit card welcome offers right now: this month's new and elevated bonuses, plus cards ranked by bonus value.

get_account

Your plan, cities and API usage today.

Read-only on award data. Your own agent never sees airline logins or points balances, and every date links to the program's own site to book.

One key per tool. Revoke any key in AwardClaw and that connection stops at once.

Your own agent questions

Where does my key go?+

In an Authorization: Bearer header, so it never appears in a URL or a log line. You can create a separate key for each tool and revoke any of them on its own.

Do I need to host anything?+

No. AwardClaw is a hosted remote MCP server. Your agent connects over HTTPS.

Is there an OpenAPI spec?+

Yes, at /api/v1/openapi.json, for frameworks that build tools from OpenAPI instead of MCP.
